The Hague
archipel
Wander around the beautiful neighborhoods of the Archipel and Willemspark district, surrounded by lively canals and parks. This very popular district is the go-to place for expats, young professionals and young families.
Cozy, monumental and popular
The Archipel neighborhood, also known as the ‘Indies’, is a compact neighborhood with a wide range of residential properties: from large homes dating from the end of the 19th century and courtyard housing around the Javastraat, to new homes on the Burgemeester Patijnlaan. Both the Archipel and Willemspark are highly demanded places to live in. Big authentic houses with high ceilings, big windows and authentic details can be found all around this area. Willemspark is a historic neighborhood with many villas dating from around 1850. This neighborhood also has a mix of older and newer homes. Most of the villas are used as offices or embassies, but some of them are converted into residential properties. The HSV International School is located in the Archipel district. The Archipel is connected to the large green area: “Scheveningse bosjes”. It is only a short walk to the city center of The Hague, but it also has its own shopping street: Bankastraat. Parking is possible with a permit on the street. The liveliness of this area is famous far and wide in The Netherlands and beyond. Are you looking for a new (temporary) home in the city center of The Hague? The Archipel and Willemspark might be just the place for you.
