The Hague
loosduinen
Practically located next to the beach and dunes, with the city center 15 minutes away. This 'village-like' environment has something for everyone in The Hague. A perfect living environment for young families and young adults.
Perfectly situated, green and diverse
The Loosduinen district consists of two separate neighbourhoods, each with their own personality. "Kom van Loosduinen" is the old core of the horticultural village of Loosduinen, and is characterized by its ‘village’-like atmosphere, with narrow streets and a mix of house types. Houtwijk is a typical 1980s suburb, with many single-family houses, a few tall tower blocks and lots of water and greenery. Loosduinen has Loosduinse Hoofdstraat as famous shopping area and the Alphons Diepenbrockhof shopping centre. A green residential area with many opportunities for recreation such as nature and green areas like Landgoed Ockenburg, Madestein, Park Bokkefort and the Uithof in the immediate vicinity. The neighborhood is located by the sea and with the beach and boulevard of Kijkduin, Loosduinen is a very attractive residential area. The International School of The Hague is just around the corner and various arterial roads and public transport are practically on your doorstep. Parking in this area is free. Public transport connects the area with the rest of the city, as does RandstadRail. By bike or bus, you can easily reach the city center of The Hague.
