The area is a bit farther out from the city center and is located parallel to a nice quiet part of The Hague beaches Kijkduin and Scheveningen. The main shopping area is located on the Savornin Lohmanplein. An indoor area with parking facilities. Parking around the Vruchtenbuurt is allowed with a permit on the street. The "village" character of the Vruchtenbuurt with the urban character of all surrounding facilities makes it a lovely neighborhood to live in. Within walking distance you will find the sea, shopping center "De Savornin Lohmanplein" and not to forget "de Bosjes van Pex", where various sports facilities such as football, cricket, hockey and tennis are located. The A4/A12 and A13 motorways are just a few minutes away by car. You will also find several schools in the immediate vicinity, including various primary and secondary schools such as the Dalton Den Haag, the Segbroek College and the International School of The Hague. At less than three minutes' walking distance, you will reach the RandstadRail stop. Shops are located on the Appelstraat and the Vlierboomstraat, in the heart of the Vruchtenbuurt.
